South Alabama Athletic Hall of Fame
Patricia Ingram, a native of Ft. Pierce, Fla., was one of South Alabama’s top offensive threats on the volleyball court during her two seasons (1982-83) with the Jags.
Following the 1983 season, Ingram earned first-team all-Sun Belt Conference honors, after recording 392 kills, 155 solo blocks and 78 service aces.
Carter left holding the single-season marks in kills per set (4.51), service aces (78), service aces per set (0.90), solo blocks (155), total blocks (185) and blocks per set (2.13), all set during the 1983 season.
Following a stellar playing career, Ingram went on to serve as an assistant coach at South Alabama in 1984 and 1985.
