A second-team all-region selection by both the National Soccer Coaches’ Association and SoccerBuzz in 1997, Bridges-Taylor was the NCAA Woman of the Year for the state of Alabama in 1998. The two-times academic honoree, who concluded her career with 20 goals and 48 points – both totals that remained among the top 10 in school history over a decade layer – was twice names all-Big South Conference (first-team in 1997 and second-team in ’98) while making the league’s all-tournament team on two occasions. Her 14 goals in 1997 still are fourth-highest season in total in the school’s record books, while her 33 points still rank sixth on the season record list.
