MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis will open its 2025 schedule Sunday when it hosts the Southern Jaguars at Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.

The Jaguars enter the 2025 campaign off a 9-11 record in 2024. The Jaguars went 4-4 in Sun Belt Conference play before falling to Louisiana in the quarterfinal round of the league tournament.
 
Seniors Juan Accossatto and Javier Montoya will lead the charge for South Alabama this season. Other returners from last year's squad include Braden Hannig and Harold van Reamdonck.
 
South Alabama had three newcomers join the team during the offseason in Victor Frumholz, Romeo Hadzimehmedovic and true freshman Adam Bouyacoub. Frumholz and Hadzimehmedovic hail from France and Serbia, respectively, while Bouyacoub comes to Mobile by way of Morocco.
 
South Alabama and Southern met last season in Mobile with USA claiming a 5-0 victory. Sunday will mark the third official meeting between both sets of Jaguars. South has claimed victory in both the other meetings.
