MOBILE, Ala.- South Alabama returns home to the Cage on Thursday for a match against ranked 13th Auburn and will hit the road again as they travel to Mississippi State on Sunday.

• South is coming off a successful road trip in which they went 2-0 with wins against LA Tech and Southeastern Louisiana.
• Irene Campo has emerged as a bright spot to the young core of the Jags as the sophomore currently leads the team in goals with two and points with five.
• In the win against SELU, Monique Gray converted on the game-winning goal for her first of the season.

Auburn Notes

• The Tigers have had a hot start to their season, starting 3-0 with one of their wins against ranked fifth Clemson. 
• Auburn currently ranks at 13th in the USC poll.
• Anna Haddock has proven to be an all-around asset for the Tigers, leading in goals with two, four assists, and eight points.

• South is 0-6 all-time against Auburn, with their last match-up being on April 3, 2020 in which Auburn won 3-0

Mississippi State Notes

• The Bulldogs have had a good start to the year with a 3-1 record

• Alivia Buxton has been a key contributor offensively with one goal and three assists on the year so far.
