FOLEY, Ala. – South Alabama Soccer fell to Texas State in the Sun Belt Championship Semifinals on Wednesday. The Jags conceded one goal, and
Sierra Giorgio recorded six saves.

KEY STATS:
- South Alabama finished this season totaling 11 shutouts, six of them consecutive. Both numbers were one shy of tying the program record.
- In addition to being the Sun Belt's West Division Champions, the Jags ranked nationally on both sides of the pitch. Coming into today's match, the Jags ranked seventh nationally in shutout percentage (.647). Prior this season, the Jags ranked 12th nationally in scoring offense.
- Several Jags earned spots on All-Sun Belt teams, including two on on First Team (Sierra Giorgio & Andrea Iljkic), one on Second Team (Zamiyah Hill) and two on Third Team (Melina Descary and Amelia Campanella).
- Sierra Giorgio was named the Sun Belt's Goalkeeper of the Year, marking the Jags' 12th major award winner out of the last 13 seasons.
