MOBILE, Ala. – Sebastien Collard of Jaguar men's tennis has been selected as the NCAA Division I men's tennis CSC Academic All-American of the Year, College Sports Communicators announced Wednesday.
Collard, a senior from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, studying finance, is one of the nine members of the 18-man team who posted a 4.0 GPA. The honor is the second time Collard has been named to an Academic All-America team, as last season he was named Third Team Academic All-America.
Collard was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2023, after winning the same honor the season before. He posted a 15-6 singles record and went 15-4 in doubles action this season.
Collard was also named First-Team All-Sun Belt for singles, the second first-team honor of his career and the third overall.
Collard marks the first Jaguar to be named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American Team Member of the Year.
