Jaguars get set for split week at Troy and home against App State

MOBILE, Ala. | The South Alabama Jaguars (11-13, 5-7 SBC) are on their second three-game winning streak of the season and look to continue that stretch against two opponents ahead of them in the Sun Belt standings.

The Jaguars resume their stretch of games on the road on Thursday, when they travel to Troy, Ala. to take on the Troy Trojans (14-11, 6-6 SBC). South defeated the Trojans by 17 points in their previous matchup this season. Over the past 10 matchups at Trojan Arena, the Jaguars hold a 7-to-3 advantage.

On Saturday, the Jaguars return home for their first game at the Mitchell Center since January 28, when they will host the Appalachian State Mountaineers (13-12, 6-6 SBC). South has a 6-3 advantage when hosting App State at the Mitch.

The game is the second in a double-header at the Mitchell Center as it follows the Jaguar women's basketball's matchup versus Louisiana. Saturday has a "Mardi Party" theme, and fans can enter to win a King Cake giveaway at the South Alabama Fan Engagement table at the north entrance.
