South Alabama Reveals 2026-27 Men’s Basketball Schedule

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama men's basketball has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring 17 home games at the Mitchell Center, trips to UCF and SMU, and a matchup with Loyola Marymount in Pensacola.

The Jaguars will host Mississippi Christian in an exhibition on Oct. 29 before opening the regular season against Ohio on Nov. 2 as part of the MAC-SBC Challenge. Jacksonville State visits the Mitchell Center on Nov. 5.

South Alabama then begins a three-game stretch away from home at UCF on Nov. 10. The Jaguars will face Loyola Marymount in the Coastal Classic at the Pensacola Bay Center on Nov. 12 before traveling to North Texas on Nov. 14.

The Jaguars return home to host Spring Hill on Nov. 17 before visiting SMU on Nov. 20. South Alabama closes its November home slate against West Florida on Nov. 22 and Florida A&M on Nov. 24.

Thanksgiving weekend takes the Jaguars to New Orleans for the Second Line Showcase, where they will face Fresno State on Nov. 27 and South Dakota State on Nov. 28. South Alabama returns to the Mitchell Center to host UTSA on Dec. 5.

Sun Belt Conference play begins Dec. 16 at Arkansas State, followed by the Jaguars' conference home opener against Old Dominion on Dec. 19. South Alabama will host Mobile on Dec.28 before closing the calendar year at Marshall on Dec. 31 and opening January at App State on Jan. 2.

The Jaguars host Georgia Southern on Jan. 7 and Coastal Carolina on Jan. 9 before visiting ULM on Jan. 14. Louisiana Tech comes to the Mitchell Center on Jan. 16.

South Alabama travels to Louisiana on Jan. 21 and hosts Southern Miss on Jan. 23 before closing the month with road games at Troy on Jan. 27 and Louisiana Tech on Jan. 30. Arkansas State visits Mobile on Feb. 3, followed by a road matchup in the second installment of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Feb. 6.

Following a trip to Georgia State on Feb. 13, the Jaguars return to the Mitchell Center for three consecutive home games. South Alabama hosts Troy on Feb. 18, Louisiana on Feb. 20, and ULM on Feb. 24 before concluding the regular season at Southern Miss on Feb. 26.

The Sun Belt Conference Tournament is scheduled for March 2-8 in Pensacola, Fla.
