MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama men's basketball will host the LSF Tip-Off Gala on Thursday, Oct. 15, at The Battle House, bringing together fans and members of the community with the 2026-27 Jaguar men's basketball team ahead of the upcoming season.

"We're really excited about the Tip-Off Gala," head coach Richie Riley said. "It's going to be a great opportunity for our fans and community to connect with our players and get ready for the upcoming season. We think this will become a signature event for Jaguar basketball!"

The event will feature a VIP cocktail hour, plated dinner, live music and opportunities for guests to meet and interact with members of the 2026-27 team. Riley will introduce the Jaguars during the evening, while select student-athletes will speak about their experiences at South Alabama.

The Tip-Off Gala will also have auctions featuring Jaguar experiences, travel packages, and other items. 

South Alabama is currently accepting additional items and experiences for the auctions.
