MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama soccer team announced its 2022 schedule on Monday; which includes two SEC road trips and three new Sun Belt Conference opponents.
 
The Jaguars will start their season with two exhibitions; at Jackson State on Aug. 10 then against Northern Kentucky in Foley, Ala., on Aug. 13.
 
South will kick off its regular season on the road at Kennesaw State on Aug. 18, followed by a match at Jacksonville State on Aug. 21.
 
The Jags' home season will begin with a home stand featuring matches against North Alabama on Aug. 25 and McNeese State on Aug. 28.
 
USA will open September with a match at Mississippi State on Sept. 1. The team will return home for matches against Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 4) and Lamar (Sept. 8) before finishing its non-conference slate at Texas A&M (Sept. 11).
 
USA will kick off its Sun Belt Conference season hosting Georgia State (Sept. 18) and Troy (Sept. 22) before hitting the road for matches against Louisiana (Sept. 25) and new SBC member Old Dominion (Oct. 2).
 
ULM will come to Mobile on Oct. 6, after which the Jags will take on two more SBC newcomers, James Madison (Oct. 9) and Southern Miss (Oct. 16).
 
A trip to San Marcos, Texas, for a match against Texas State on Oct. 20 will lead off the final three regular season matches. The Jaguars' final home match will take place on Oct. 23 against Coastal Carolina. The team will close their season at Arkansas State on Oct. 27.
 
The Sun Belt Conference Tournament will return to Foley, Ala., and is scheduled to take place Oct. 31-Nov. 6.
