Jaguar soccer announces 4 signees for 2023

MOBILE, Ala. –South Alabama women's soccer head coach Richard Moodie announced Thursday four signees for the upcoming spring and fall.
 
Gabby Hollar and Georgia Cousins will join the program starting in the spring of 2023, while Natalie Chapuran and Jaidin Kinch will join the team in the fall.
 
Gabby Hollar – Forward
West Liberty, Ohio
West Liberty-Salem High School (Purdue)
 
Graduate transfer from Purdue University … Appeared in 16 games during the 2022 season … Earned six starts … Scored two goals and recorded one assist … Helped Purdue to second in the Big Ten in 2021 and to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2021 … Played 15 matches and earned one start in the 2021 season
 
Played her freshman season at West Virginia … Played 10 matches and scored one goal with two shots in 156 total minutes … Helped WVU to Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament in 2019
 
Played soccer four years at West Liberty-Salem High School … Recorded 99 career goals in high school and 32 assists … All-American in 2017 and 2018
 
Georgia Cousins – Defender

Thompson High School
 
Played soccer for four years at Thompson High School … Named all-metro four years in a row (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) … Named all-county in the same years … Named all-state in 2022 … Played in the all-star game
 
Natalie Chapuran – Midfielder
Huntsville, Ala.
Huntsville High School
 
Played varsity soccer for five years at Huntsville High School … Helped her team to the elite eight in 2022, round of 16 in 2021 … Area champs in 2021 … Was the top goal scorer her eight and ninth grade seasons … Most assists on the team her sophomore and junior seasons … Named MVP of the midfield sophomore and junior seasons … Scored the game-winner in the area championships in 2021-22 season
 
Jaidin Kinch – Goalkeeper
Highlands Ranch, Colo.
Valor Christian High School
 
Played soccer at Valor Christian for four years … Led the Eagles to league titles in 2020, 2021 and 2022 … Totaled 1,358 minutes … Recorded a .530 GAA … allowed just nine goals in 2022 season … Recorded a total of 60 saves with 2.9 saves per game … Recorded 13 clean sheets
