2023 Schedule

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama baseball will host a pair of tournaments, along with a three-game series with Nebraska and a midweek contest against Alabama at Stanky Field as part of the 2023 schedule released on Thursday.

The Jaguars will host their first tournament on opening weekend (Feb. 17-19) with UAB, Eastern Kentucky and Northwestern State visiting Stanky Field. A midweek contest with Nicholls (Feb. 22) and three-game set with Nebraska (Feb. 24-26) will follow before USA travels to New Orleans to face Tulane (Feb. 28) in its first road game of the season.

South Alabama will then host a round-robin tournament with Iowa, Pepperdine and Southern (March 3-5), followed by a midweek contest with New Orleans (March 7) at Stanky Field. The Jags will travel to Jacksonville State (March 10-12) before hosting Alabama (March 14) prior to the Sun Belt Conference opener with Georgia Southern (March 17-19) in Statesboro, Ga.

USA will face Auburn (March 21) in Montgomery in midweek action, followed by the SBC home opener with Louisiana (March 24-26). The Jags will play a pair of midweeks against Southeastern Louisiana (March 28) and at Nicholls (March 29) before a three-game series at James Madison (March 31-April 2). 

USA hosts Southern (April 4) and Texas State (April 6-8), followed by a midweek game at Alabama State (April 11) and three-game conference series at ULM (April 14-16).  South Alabama hosts Alabama State (April 18), followed by Georgia State (April 21-23), New Orleans (April 25) and Troy (April 28-30).

The Jags face Southern Miss (May 5-7) in Hattiesburg, Miss., before hosting Tulane (May 9) and Coastal Carolina (May 12-14). USA closes the regular season with a midweek contest at Southeastern Louisiana (May 16) and three-game series at Arkansas State (May 18-20).

The SBC Championship will be held in Montgomery, Ala., at Riverwalk Stadium May 24-29.
