MOBILE, Ala. – Former South Alabama Baseball standout Brendan Donovan was named to the 2025 National League All-Star Team Sunday.
Donovan becomes the fifth former Jaguar to be selected to a Major League Baseball All-Star Team, joining Luis Gonzalez, David Freese, Lance Johnson and Jon Lieber. Gonzalez was a five-time All-Star during his career.
Donovan has appeared in 82 games for the Saint Louis Cardinals in 2025, hitting .296 in 318 at-bats. He owns 94 hits on the year with 22 doubles, seven home runs and 32 runs batted in. Donovan has also drawn 31 walks and three stolen three bases.
The 2025 MLB All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday, July 15 at Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. The game will start at 7 p.m. CT and can be viewed on FOX.
