Miscellaneous Notes
- Three returners have been honored with individual accolades from the Sun Belt with two Freshman of the Year (Wilson 2019, McPartlan 2018), and one Newcomer of the Year (Moraitou 2019).
- The same three returners were named all-conference in 2019. Moraitou and Wilson were First-Team All-Sun Belt, while McPartlan was named to the second team.
- Griss was also named Second-Team All-Sun Belt, but as a defender; she will be returning to her natural position as a central midfielder this season.
- McPartlan started every game while Griss and Wilson played in each contest. Moraitou missed games when she was recalled for international duty on the Greek National Team.
- Midfield production was responsible for 13 goals and 19 assists among returning players.
- Five of six penalty kicks scored were off the foot of a midfielder (McPartlan).
- Griss contributed with one goal and three assists from centerback last year, but will have a bigger opportunity to create with the ability to get further with players in defense covering.

Richard Moodie
- On the midfield strength: "The players have looked excellent in practice. When you are returning three exceptional players that are highly respected within the conference along with talented players that could easily be rotated into this team, the difficulty is picking the right group. The added depth will obviously keep everyone fresh, but the bigger aspect is keeping the quality high on the field, which looks great."
- On the midfield role: "Versatility has been a key this off season. We are asking a few players to add to their roles on the pitch this season to give us an edge with unpredictability during the offensive buildup, and the response has been phenomenal. The primary goal is to keep this midfield at as high of a level as possible, so we will keep that in mind whenever we take the field."
- On leadership from the midfield: "It's been great from a few aspects. The leadership can communicate with the entire formation with forwards and defenders able to receive instruction. They also bring a level of experience and know the coaching staff's expectations. It is not just the voice from them either, because all of them are extremely hard workers. Everyone has off days where your touch may be a bit off, but with them you still know you will get full effort and they will work until it meets and exceeds the standards we set."
- On the newcomers: "You have two outstanding student-athletes in Izzy Ford and Kailey Littleford that could be very versatile and rotate in as wingers. They are capable of rotating in centrally as well; it will be something that we keep an eye on this year as they are very eager to learn and have the quality to grow to excel in this team.

Brenna McPartlan
- On the expectations: "We had a great group of midfielders last season and have increased the quality with [Tabea] Griss rotating forward from our defense and we have some quality freshman newcomers. The expectations are to work hard and improve from last season's squad; we have the capability to create more chances and score more goals."
- On the newcomers: "There is a lot of new talented players that work hard and have great attitudes. They have adjusted to the team well and have been eager quick learners to do what we need and ask of them."
- On her personal goals: "My primary goal is to do what I can to benefit the team best, but I do want more offensive involvement by either setting up, assisting or scoring more goals, which has been the goals set by most of the returners."
