-Garvin ended his career among the top five all-time at South with 205 completions (fourth), 2,477 yards passing (fourth), 16 touchdown passes (tie-fourth) and a 118.68 pass efficiency rating (fifth).
-Johnson threw a touchdown pass in three of his last four appearances of the season, including in his lone start against ULM.

Kenny Edenfield
-On his focus helping the group prepare for the upcoming season: "First and foremost, it's about just getting comfortable with their decisions; we're trying to give them keys to make good decisions on when and where they are going to throw the ball.  We've really tried to simplify it over the offseason so that it can be really easy for them to see it and be able to react, and I think we've gotten better at that.  We've changed the presentation sometimes, but the plays are all still the same.  A key for us is keeping it simple for the quarterbacks so they can execute what we want them to execute."
-On Cephus Johnson: "He has been way more consistent, his numbers in fall camp were outstanding as far as completions and making good decisions.  All quarterbacks are going to make some bad decisions, it's just part of it because the game is happening fast and it's real easy to see on film compared to when you are out there live.  The other thing for him is just being able to get a good start, he is always excited to play and wants to do well but it's not on him.  Cephus just needs to be the point guard and distribute the ball, what we've talked about is allowing everyone to help him make plays."
-On the team's depth at the position: "First of all, they are all good leaders with a really good work ethic, and they all love to play football which is exciting.  They all have the same abilities, the can run and throw the football — they are dual-threat guys.  They are all really smart football players, and any time you can get that kind of combination you're excited about it.  They are highly competitive.  I think every one of them can play here.  I am really excited about it, we've got a really good group and I'm anxious to see how it goes and how we develop."

Cephus Johnson
-On his expectations for the upcoming season: "It's just to do the best I can to help put the team in the best situation to win.  I want to execute plays and have fun."
-On the biggest improvement he has made in the last year: "I'm making my reads quicker and making faster decisions.  It is important to understand that and know where to go with the ball."
-On the team's quarterbacks as a group: "Everybody brings something different to the table.  Tylan is a playmaker, Desmond is a technician and knows exactly what to do.  Even tough Tanner and Hunter are young, they still compete and know what they are doing."

Tylan Morton
-On the difference between the FBS and junior college levels: "The game moves a little faster, that's the biggest difference."
-On his strength as a quarterback: "What I do best is keep everybody together, if something goes wrong I make sure that everybody stays on the same page."
-On South's quarterbacks: "As a position group we are loaded from one through five.  It's a great room, we have great energy and everyone gets along well.  We have a group of great guys."
