MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Football has announced the signing of 22 new additions to the program on the first day of the early signing period.

The Jags signed 18 high school prospects who will join the team as true freshmen, and four junior college transfers who bring experience from previous colleges.

"We are thrilled with the class we have assembled during this early signing period," said head coach Major Applewhite. "Our staff has been hard at work to find young-men who will represent this program and university with integrity and class. I believe this group will help our program excel on and off the field as we continue our quest to bring championships to Mobile."
