- Duren set a new career high in games played, eclipsing the combined total from her first two seasons (11)
- Dixon was voted the Sun Belt Preseason Offensive Player of the Year prior to the 2018 season but did not play due to an injury
Richard Moodie
- On having a lot of depth in attack: "The positives are that we've got so many that could score and are competing with each other. In our Friday-Sunday schedule, you need fresher bodies for Sunday, so the ability to put people in and out, and keep that quality, we maybe didn't have that a few years ago. On the negative side of it, it's tough to build that relationship with a front three and play them together constantly. You try to do it as much as you can in practice, but players can read into starting lineups. As much as you want them to play together, you're trying to make sure everyone's spirits are high in practice. That's the biggest challenge with any coaching staff."
- On the group's progress despite not scoring during exhibitions: "The cliché is, 'It's a process,' but when I watch us train every day in practice, you just know you have a good group. So the general feeling of how we look in practice is, we're so much better. We do trust the process and we know the goals will come. We have to keep doing what we're doing. We look good playing through the thirds, we look good going through the midfield and we're extremely strong in those positions. We've got too many good players, whether they're in the XI or coming off the bench, to not score goals."
Moa Öhman
- On how the competition is making people better: "I feel like it's a healthy competition. Competition is always good because it gives everyone a chance to get better. Everyone gives more in practice because they want to get that spot. It pushes everyone to do better."
- On what she wanted to improve: "My overall fitness. I wanted to get in shape so I could perform the way I wanted to, and not have that as an excuse. I wanted to be as fit as I could possibly be so I could have everything I would need to achieve my goals."
- On having a more static role this season: "It's easier to adapt to one role rather than two. I've been given the opportunity to practice in that role and I'm more comfortable there and know what to do."
