THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On last week against Southern Miss: "It feels good to get the win against Southern Miss even though it wasn't pretty. Sometimes you have to win when you have a bad day. It was good to pull it out. The guys are excited. Friday we are looking for a high-intensity level and high-performance level. Even though our big match is against Georgia State, we do not want to look past Samford."
On what they are trying to do: "Right now we are working on how we want to compete and maintaining a high-level regardless of who were are playing against whether it is a top opponent or one in the middle of the pack. We try to keep the same level of intensity and focus."
On having key performances, like Max Lapraille clinching the match against USM, from underclassman: "It is very important for the top guys to see that. When you have the bottom guys step up, especially the freshman, when it's time to clinch a match it creates a sense of confidence and trust among each other."
