FOLEY, Ala. – University of South Alabama junior
Briana Morris was voted to the Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team following the championship match on Sunday.
A native of Hoover, Ala., Morris recorded a goal and three assists in two games as the Jaguars reached the semifinals before falling in a shootout to No. 1 seed Texas State.
In the opening round against Appalachian State, Morris came off the bench to account for all three South Alabama goals with a goal and two assists. She helped on the game winner and the second goal late in the first half, then added the goal 12 minutes into the second.
The four points against App matched her season total coming into the contest.
In the semifinal, Morris provided one of two assists on
Moa Öhman's opener in the 18th minute.
Morris finished the season with three goals (tied for third on the team) and nine points (second).
