MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama baseball enters its final stretch of four-on-one and individual workouts before opening fall practice Fri., Sept. 23.
Jaguar pitchers are continuing to throw bullpens along with side training, while position players have been taking ground balls, fly balls and hitting in the Luis Gonzalez Hitting Facility.
Left-handed pitcher Phillip Byrd explains what workouts have been like up to this point, and the experience of working with pitching coach Bob Keller in the above video.
Fall practice will open Fri., Sept. 23, and will conclude with the annual Red-Blue World Series.
