South Alabama was highlighted by a victory in the men's 4x400-meter relay, as Jordan Morrison, Nieko Garnes, Marlon Miller, and Avery Childress combined to win in 3:08.64. The performance ranks second all-time in program history.

In the throws, Reuben Booysen delivered one of the top performances in program history, placing second in the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 62.08m (203-8), moving into fourth all-time at South Alabama. He added another runner-up finish in the javelin (67.07m) to cap a strong double.

On the track, multiple Jaguars etched their names into the record book. Emily Miles ran 2:11.75 in the 800 meters to rank fourth all-time, while Brady Keller clocked 1:49.60 to move into fifth all-time in the same event. Nieko Garnes added another top-five program mark, running 51.51 in the 400-meter hurdles to rank fifth in school history.
- In the field events, Terek Logan cleared a personal-best 5.40m (17-8.5) to finish second in the men's pole vault, a mark that ranks third all-time at South Alabama. Diego Andres-Dougan also entered the record book, placing fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.82m to rank eighth all-time. Will Fredrick added a third-place finish in the pole vault at 5.00m.

South Alabama enters the weekend with strength across multiple event groups, highlighted by several top-25 national squad rankings.

The Jaguars' javelin unit leads the way at No. 4 nationally, powered by Reuben Booysen's 68.97m mark and supported by three additional athletes who have surpassed 57 meters this season. Jackson Laughlin owns a mark of 63.36m, while Dylan Hale has reached 61.96m, and Brody Hamilton has added a 57.90m throw.

The pole vault group also ranks among the nation's best, checking in at No. 8 nationally. Terek Logan leads the unit with a 5.40m clearance, while Will Fredrick has gone 5.35m and Grayson Venezia has cleared 4.95m, giving the Jaguars one of the deepest vault groups in the country.

On the track, South Alabama's 400-meter hurdles squad ranks No. 9 nationally behind a strong group effort led by freshman Nieko Garnes, who owns a season-best time of 51.51. Omari Taylor, Jadon Thomason, and Bo Webb have each also turned in marks under 54 seconds this outdoor season.

In the field events, the hammer throw group sits No. 13 nationally with a pair of 61-plus meter efforts from Booysen and Samuel Mika. Booysen has recorded a season-best throw of 62.08m, while Mika has added a mark of 61.33m to pace another strong Jaguar event group.

Additional top-25 event group rankings include the 110-meter hurdles, which rank No. 25 nationally and are led by Thomason's 14.31, along with contributions from Kelvin Jones, Samuel Warriner, and Diego Andres-Dougan.

South Alabama also ranks No. 31 nationally in the high jump, where Jonathan Henderson's 2.15m clearance stands among the top marks in the country (No.20).

On the women's side, Calli Stokes ranks 25th in the Eastern division in the heptathlon after totaling 5,100 points at the Doc Anderson Invitational. Iyana Johnson is 28th in the hammer throw with a top toss of 59.32 meters.

Five athletes will compete in California at the Bryan Clay Invitational, as Brady Keller, Charleen Elizondo, Emily Miles, and Jordan Morrison will take part in the distance events.
- Samuel Mika and Flora Dupans will head to Hammond to compete in the throwing events on Friday, April 17.
