South Alabama will compete across two separate meets hosted by Samford, beginning with the Multis competition Thursday and Friday morning. Four Jaguars will take part, with Samuel Warriner and Heath Whigham competing in the men's heptathlon, and Calli Stokes and Leila McClough competing in the women's pentathlon.

Following the completion of the Multis, 50 Jaguars are scheduled to compete in the Samford Invitational on Friday.

Several All-Sun Belt performers and NCAA East First Round qualifiers will see action in the season-opening meet.

Presleigh Montalvo, the indoor school record holder in the women's 60 meters, will open the meet for the Jaguars, competing in the first event of the day.

The men's shot put features three returning All-Conference throwers in Reuben Booysen, Samuel Mika, and Bobby Gray, with competition slated for 4 p.m.

Flora Dupans, an NCAA East First Round qualifier, will also compete in the shot put at 4 p.m.
- Additional Jaguars to watch include NCAA East First Round qualifiers Will Frederick in the pole vault (3 p.m.) and Iyana Johnson in the weight throw (10 a.m.), along with Charleen Elizondo, the 2025 Sun Belt bronze medalist, who will close the meet in the 3,000 meters at 4:25 p.m.
