Behnsen Records Top 25 Finish to Close Out UCF Challenge

ORLANDO, Fla. | Anna Behnsen (71-73-73) posted a three-round, one-over par 217 Tuesday afternoon to finish tied for 24th at the UCF Challenge presented by PDI and held at Eagle Creek Golf Club.

Seventh-ranked Auburn (840) finished 24-under par, four shots ahead of Mississippi State (244) and placed three players in the Top 10, led by Katie Cranston (69-69-69) who took home medalist honors finishing with a nine-under 207.

Head Coach Marcelo Huarte
- On his thoughts on the weekend:
"This was our first tournament of the spring, and while we didn't perform to the standard we aspire to as a team, there were plenty of positives to take away. We had Jags making their first appearances and capitalizing on their opportunities. Lilian (Buehle) shot a 69 in the second round in her first collegiate start, and Anna (Behnsen) continued to show her consistency with a Top-25 finish.

"This was an elite field and it highlighted exactly what we need to work on as we continue to elevate as a team. We have a special group with a lot of potential, and I truly believe this team is capable of accomplishing special things. We're going to run our race, keep our heads down, and stay committed to our process. Good things are coming."
