Stutley Set to Join Jaguars for 2026-27 Season

MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama women's golf head coach Marcelo Huarte announced the addition of Rebekka Stutley (Adelaide, Australia), a two-time all-CUSA performer and transfer from Jacksonville State. 

Stutley will have two years of eligibility and will join fellow newcomers Léa Giron (Nantes, France) and Shiloh Gilbert (Millbrook, Ala.) for the 2026-27 season, who were announced last month.

- Earned third-team Conference USA all-league honors as a sophomore
- Averaged 74.0 strokes per round where she competed in nine events and 27 rounds of play for the Gamecocks
- Posted a 458-290-36 record in tournament play and recorded three Top 25 finishes, a pair of Top 15 finishes and a Top 10 placement as a sophomore
- Recorded a Top 25 finish at the CUSA Golf Championship where she placed 21st 
- Finished seventh during the spring at the Chris Banister Golf Classic with a three-round,     223 (77-75-71)
- Matched her career-low round with a second round 70 and then finished with a career-low 216 to place 15th at the Golf Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State
- Recorded first collegiate eagle during the first round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on the par 4, 338-yard hole No. 8
- Named CUSA Freshman of the Year following the conclusion of the 2024-25 season, as well as earning second-team, all-league honors
- Averaged 74.4 strokes per round where she competed in five events and 15 rounds of play for Jax State
- Had an impressive 275-53-11 record in tournament play as a freshman
- Placed inside the Top 15 in all five events during the spring
- Finished 11th at the 2025 CUSA Golf Championship held at the Slammer and Squire Golf Course at World Golf Village – St. Augustine, Fla., where she fired a three-round 220, helping the Gamecocks place second
- Received CUSA Golfer of the Week honors on Feb. 12, 2025 after netting a top-10 finish at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate in her collegiate debut
-Shot a 75 in the opening round and was bogey-free on the back nine, and then posted her first under par round with a second-round 70, posting four birdies on the back
- Was fifth in the field at the tournament in Par 4 scoring at 3.97
- Her sixth-place finish in her first tournament was her best of the season in the 101-player field 
- Also placed 14th at the Chris Banister Golf Classic, 15th at the Spring Break Shootout hosted by Western Kentucky and 12th at the ECU Ironwood Invitational hosted by East Carolina
- Best three-round score came at the UNCG/AGPC Invitational where she carded a 217 (75-70-72)
