MOBILE, Ala. | The University of South Alabama women's golf team will open up the 2025-26 schedule this week at the 47th Annual Branch Law Firm / Dick McGuire Invitational presented by Margaret Moses Branch and Annette Arrigoni hosted by New Mexico at the UNM Championship Course.
TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
•   The two-day, 54-hole tournament is set to get underway on Monday morning with a ??a.m. shotgun start on the par 72, 6,354-yard course
•   The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and then the final 18 on Tuesday
•   The field also includes a total of 15 individuals from 11 teams in the field
•   Live scoring links for each round will be available on USAJaguars.com
THE FIELD
•   Joining South Alabama in the 15-team field are New Mexico, BYU, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Mercer, Montana State, Northern Arizona, Sacramento State, Southern Miss, UNLV, UTEP, Washington State
•   South Alabama will be paired with Fresno State and Southern Miss and tee off on holes 11-13 in the opening round

Katelyn Foster | 13A Tee
•   Schroll was named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year, while also earning first-team all-conference honors last season after averaging 72.27 strokes per round – a freshman record for the program – and posting eight Top 10 finishes in her 10 events
•   Aldana, a second-team all-SBC selection, averaged 73.30 strokes per round – the second lowest average by a freshman at South in program history, and recorded six Top 10 finishes and finished inside the Top 20 in seven of her 10 events
•   Aldana also recorded 63 birdies and an eagle during the season
•   Behnsen averaged 75.5 strokes per round (2,038 strokes), and her four rounds under 70 tied with Schroll for the team lead in the category
•   The start marks the first for both Foster and Palermos
