QUOTABLE
"Very long weekend and very hot weekend. It was a very good test to see if we were in shape, and I think we are. WE didn't have anybody cramp and didn't have anybody slowing down. We played three matches a day and it was extremely hot, so it proves we did a very good job in preseason."
-Head Coach Nick Brochu on the team's physical performance at the tournament
"I thought we had a slow start on Friday. It was hard for us to maintain focus and maintain a high level. Saturday was a little better, but Sunday was definitely our best day. Sunday, we pretty much won everything except for one match. Finishing 10-1 on Sunday was because we could maintain our level of play the whole day. We definitely finished on a good note."
-Brochu on the team getting progressively better throughout the weekend
"Harold finished undefeated in singles. He's been playing lights out and he's showing that he's one of our leaders."
-Brochu on the stellar play of
Harold van Raemdonck
"It was a good weekend to identify what we need to work on. We have a big tournament next week at Auburn, but we definitely saw some good things this week."
-Brochu on looking forward to the team's next tournament
