MOBILE, Ala. – The South Alabama Track & Field team is set for a weekend of split competition. Throughout this week, they will send athletes to the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Georgia Tech Invitational.

Notes
- Four distance runners will travel to California to take part in the Bryan Clay Invitational. Carson Barlow, Xavier Johnson, Sacha Perrier, and Charleen Elizondo will compete for the Jaguar men and the women.
- Reuben Booysen, Will Frederick, Jadon Thomason, Kendal White, Iyana Johnson, Ava Wheaton, Dianna Goodman, and Alexis Gratia will be a handful of the athletes competing for the Jags in Atlanta.
- Several Jaguars earned Top 10 finishes at a competitive Crimson Tide Invitational last weekend.
- Kendal White led the way, posting a PR in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 51.22 to take second place. This time ranks him 38th in the NCAA.
- Dianna Goodman placed third in the women's pole vault with a clearance of 3.98 meters (13 ¾)
- In the men's hammer throw Invite, Samuel Mika earned a fourth-place finish with a toss of 58.61 meters (192-03).
- Four Jaguar teams are in the Top 25 of the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings.
- The men's javelin group, consisting of Reuben Booysen, Jackson Laughlin, Dylan Hale, and Brody Hamilton is fourth in the nation with an average throw of 64.14 meters (210-05).
- The 400-meter hurdles crew, consisting of Kendal White, Jadon Thomason, Bo Webb, and Ryler Gould is sixth with a time of 3:33.21.
- The men's discus squad, including Samuel Mika, Joshua Acker, Bobby Gray, and Reuben Boosyen are ranked 20th in the NCAA with a combined throw of 196.05 meters (643-03).
- On the women's side, the javelin team of Ava Wheaton, Calli Stokes, Mallory Norton, and Karleigh Mills are ranked 19th in the country with a combined throw of 168.51 meters (552-10).
- Calli Stokes has continued to improve throughout the last two weeks. After winning the heptathlon during her first-ever competition, Stokes followed up that performance with a Top 10 all-time mark in the javelin, throwing 44.68 meters at the Crimson Tide Invitational.
- Booysen is ranked No.12 in the nation with a school record throw of 72.45 meters (237-08).
