MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama Track & Field announced its full 2026 indoor and outdoor schedule Tuesday, featuring multiple home meets, a mix of nationally recognized invitationals, and the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships being hosted in Jaguar Track.  

The Jaguars will open the indoor season on the road before returning to Alabama for several key meets at the Birmingham CrossPlex, including the Sun Belt Indoor Championships, before turning their attention to postseason competition.

South Alabama begins the indoor campaign at the Samford Clash on Jan. 16 in Birmingham, followed by a trip to Baton Rouge for the Bayou Bengal Invitational on Jan. 23. The Jaguars will then host the USA Invitational on Feb. 2 at the Birmingham CrossPlex before traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska, for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Feb. 6–7.

A split weekend follows on Feb. 13 with competition at the Samford Invitational and the Music City Invite in Nashville. The indoor regular season concludes with the Sun Belt Indoor Championships on Feb. 23–24 in Birmingham. Qualifiers will advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 13–14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The outdoor season opens at home on March 13 with the USA Invite at Jaguar Track in Mobile. The Jaguars then return to Baton Rouge for the LSU Opener on March 21, followed by a split weekend at the FSU Relays in Tallahassee and the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh on March 26–27.

April competition begins with back-to-back meets at the Troy Invite and the Southern Miss Invitational on April 3–4, followed by the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa on April 10. South Alabama returns home April 11 for the USSU Invitational before heading west to California for the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational on April 16–18.

The Jaguars close the regular season at the Samford Invitational on April 24 and the Jaguar Invite at home on May 1. Championship season begins May 14–16 as South Alabama hosts the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships at Jaguar Track. Postseason competition continues at the NCAA East First Rounds in Lexington, Kentucky, on May 27–30, with the NCAA Championships scheduled for June 10–13 in Eugene, Oregon.
