TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The South Alabama Track and Field had a strong showing at the Crimson Tide Invitational, posting several Top 10 finishes and new additions to the Jaguar record books. Kendal White led the charge, clocking a new PR in the 400-meter hurdles and bolstering his all-time ranking.
Kendal White recorded the Jaguars' highest finish of the weekend by blazing to a PR time of 51.22 in the 400-meter hurdles to secure second place and bolster his fourth-place ranking in South Alabama's history books. Additionally, this finish ranks 34th among all 400-meter hurdle times in the nation.
In the throwing circle, Samuel Mika earned fourth place in the hammer throw with a toss of 58.61 meters (192-03), while Bobby Gray finished close behind in sixth place with a throw of 58.06 meters (190-06). Mika also went on to take fifth in the men's discus with a hurl of 50.95 meters (167-02).
Flora Dupans secured fifth place in the women's discus invite, recording a throw of 49.32 meters (161-10).
Calli Stokes had another impressive performance, moving into ninth in the all-time Jaguar record books in the Javelin with a throw of 44.68 meters (146-07).
Tyler Doty ran a time of 9:36.46 in the 3000-meter steeplechase to place sixth overall.
Dianna Goodman claimed her third Top three finish in the women's pole vault, leaping to 3.98 meters (13-0 ¾) to earn third place.
On the men's side, Will Frederick cleared five meters for the second time this outdoor season, leaping to 5.00 meters (16-4 ¾) to place ninth.
Presleigh Montalvo bolted to a time of 11.88 to crack the Top 10 of the women's 100 meters, finishing in ninth place.

The Jaguars will make the long journey out west to California to compete in the Long Beach Invitational and Bryan Clay Invitational from April 15-18.
