Jaguars Have Weekend Slate at Old Dominion and James Madison

MOBILE, Ala.- South Alabama will remain on the road where they will face Old Dominion on Friday at 12:00 PM CT and will follow up against James Madison on Sunday at 8:00 AM CT. 

The Jaguars are hoping to bounce back after falling to Marshall on Sunday in a 4-0 final. South ranks 60th in the ITA rankings and is tied for third in the Sun Belt standings with a 3-1 record.

At the midway point of the season, South has maintained a 10-3 record and has spent three weeks in the ITA rankings. South Alabama has had a promising start to conference play, with a 3-1 record that is tied for third in the standings. The Monarchs are 9-4 on the season and have won their first three conference matches. Old Dominion has competed well in Norfolk, posting a 7-0 record at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. 

The Jaguars have a 5-2 all-time record against Old Dominion and are seeking redemption after falling to the Monarchs in the Sun Belt tournament last year in a 0-4 defeat.

The Dukes have struggled so far this season with a 4-10 record. Despite the slow start, James Madison has picked it up with a 2-2 record in conference play. 

South is 1-2 all-time against the Duke, with their last match resulting in a 4-3 victory for the Jaguars.
