Jags Return Home to Face Two In-State Opponents

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis returns home Friday for a pair of home matches against in-state opponents Alabama State and Jacksonville State after four-straight matches on the road.

The Jaguars enter the weekend after dropping back-to-back matches at Samford and UAB. Alabama State and Jacksonville State will mark four-consecutive in-state opponents the Jags have faced. South is 2-3 overall for the year.
 
Sophomore Harold van Raemdonck is playing great tennis for the Jags as he enters the weekend with a singles record of 4-0 for the year. Raemdonck has earned two victories in the No. 5 position and two at No. 6. He has won all four of his matches in South's last-four contests after sitting out the season opener.
 
South Alabama is 3-0 all time against Alabama State and holds a 5-0 record over Jacksonville State. This will mark the first meeting with Alabama State since the 2015 season, and the first against Jacksonville State since 2017.
