Hannig Ranked 102 in Latest ITA Singles Rankings

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis senior Braden Hannig debuted in the ITA Division I Men's Singles Rankings Tuesday at No. 102.

The ITA Rankings rank the top 125 men's college tennis players in the country. Hannig is the highest ranked student-athlete in the Sun Belt Conference and owns wins over No. 68 Walid Ahouda of Louisville and No. 11 Alberto Altur of North Alabama.

"Braden had an excellent fall," said head coach Nick Brochu. "We're so happy to have him back from injury. He's been helping the team so much on and off the court. He's a great captain, works extremely hard and has high goals. I'm not surprised by his ranking, and I'm sure it's going to push him to get even better results."

During the fall season, Hannig reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Regionals, which qualified him to compete in the ITA Sectionals.
