MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis will hit the road for the first time this weekend when it travels to Oxford, Miss. for a pair of weekend matches hosted on the campus of Ole Miss.

South Alabama will open the weekend by facing Sun Belt Conference foe Georgia Southern in a nonconference matchup. First serve between the Jaguars and Eagles will take place at 11 a.m. CT. The Jags will then face whichever team has the same result as them from the Ole Miss versus Tulane match on Saturday afternoon. If the Jags play Ole Miss, that match will take place at 3 p.m. CT on Sunday. If they face Tulane, that match will be played at 11 a.m. CT Sunday morning.
South is 11-2 in matches against Georgia Southern while the Jags hold a 16-11 advantage over Tulane. The Jaguars have never defeated Ole Miss and are 0-7 all time against the Rebels.
The Jags opened the season with a 4-0 victory over Southern on their home courts. After neither team clinched the doubles point, South Alabama won all four singles matches to take the team victory.
