MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama men's tennis will continue a stretch of three straight matches in Florida this week with contests at UCF and North Florida.
The Jaguars will visit Orlando on Tuesday, March 5 for a showdown at UCF before traveling to Jacksonville to take on North Florida on Thursday, March 7.
South and UCF have met a total of six times in series history with the Jags winning two of those matches. The two school last played in 2021 when UCF claimed a 6-1 victory. The match at North Florida will be the 13th between the two schools with UNF owning an 8-4 series lead. The Ospreys claimed victory in the last meeting, 4-1, in 2022.
South Alabama dropped its last match, 6-1, at Florida State on Sunday, Feb. 25. Before that, the Jaguars knocked off a ranked UAB team, 7-0. Central Florida is ranked 44th in the country, marking the third-consecutive meeting against a ranked opponent for the Jags.
