NORFOLK, Va. -Â South Alabama falters in both games of Friday's doubleheader, 8-2, then 8-3.
In both games, the Jags struck first, with
Lucas Ismaili knocked a two-run homer in the top of the second, and
Will Turner sending the first ball thrown in game two out of the stadium.Â
In both games, the Monarchs responded quickly to take the lead, never relinquishing it.Â
Both starting pitchers,
Carson Swilling and
Leif Moore, were able to command the opposing team, only letting up more than one run in one inning each (four in the fourth for Swilling and three in the sixth for Moore).
