NEW ORLEANS, La.- Irene Campo, Kate Nicolson, and Monique Gray were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region team as announced this Wednesday. 

Irene Campo took a major leap from her freshman to sophomore season. The Santander, Spain native took home Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year honors as she racked up a Sun Belt-leading 12 goals, six assists, 30 points, with 1466 minutes of action. Campo proved to be the heart of the Jags explosive offense, having several games where she stepped up and helped lead South Alabama to victory. The sophomore was also recognized as First Team All-Sun Belt this season. 

Kate Nicolson anchored the Jaguar defense in the 2024 season with her veteran leadership and gritty style of play. The senior had a fantastic year on the pitch, totaling 1372 minutes while also recording a goal and two points. The Stirling, Scotland native appeared and started in 16 matches, playing the full 90 minutes in 13 of them to showcase her durability and incredible effort. 

Monique Gray capped off her senior year on a great note. The St. Petersburg, Florida native started in all 19 matches in the 2024 season, recording six goals, six assists, and 18 points in 1504 total minutes. Gray also managed to surpass 5,000 career minutes on the pitch by reaching 5,217 minutes at the end of the season. Gray helped the Jags offense come to life in late games and proved to be a quality contributor for South Alabama.
