NEW ORLEANS, La.- Irene Campo and Kate Nicolson were announced as first-team All-Sun Belt by the league Sunday afternoon for their remarkable season. 

Irene Campo dominated offensively and proved to be the leader of South's fiery offense. In the 2024 regular season, Campo started in all 18 matches with a total of 1393 minutes played. The Santander, Spain native led the Sun Belt in goals with 12 and was second in points with 29. Campo also managed to rack up five assists and two game-winners on the season. Campo provided a spark for the Jags this season as she helped propel them to a 10-5-3 record overall. The sophomore has been incredibly efficient for the Jags, scoring four goals in the last two games for South, as she hopes to ride the momentum as they enter the tournament. 

Kate Nicolson made her presence felt on the pitch this year. The senior from Stirling, Scotland helped lead the Jaguar defense this season totaling 1282 minutes of action and managed to score a goal and add two points for the Jags offense. Defensively, Nicolson played a massive role in being the leader for South's defense. In 12 of the 15 matches that Nicolson started and appeared in, she played the full 90 minutes, proving how much durability and grit she displayed on the pitch. Nicolson's veteran presence helped ignite the Jags all throughout the 2024 season.
