Mobile, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis will continue its fall schedule with the CCB Colegiate Invitational, hosted by Samford at the Country Club of Birmingham.
 
The tournament will run Oct. 25-27. Friday will consist of two rounds of singles while Saturday and Sunday will include both singles and doubles. The Jaguars will be taken Braden Hannig, Victor Frumholz, Juan Accossatto and Harold van Raemdonck. Hannig and Frumholz will play as a doubles pair while van Raemdonck and Accossatto will also team up.
 
"The guys are really excited going up to Birmingham this weekend," said head coach Nick Brochu. "We've got some teams we haven't seen so far from Tennessee and Georgia. Our goal is to keep the positive momentum that we created at regionals at LSU, and carry that over to this tournament."
 
In addition to South Alabama, teams present at the tournament include Belmont, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Louisiana, North Alabama, Samford, Southern Miss, Tulane and UAB. The programs will compete on clay courts.
 
"The approach to the tournament will be a little different since it is on clay," Brochu said. "We're going to have to be a little more patient. Rallies are going to be a little bit longer. It's a great event, and we're looking forward to how the guys compete.
 
Results will be posted to USAJaguars.com each day and a recap will also be posted at the end of the competition.
