MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama men's tennis will open its road slate Saturday when it takes on New Mexico and Arkansas.
 
The Jags will take on the Lobos Saturday at 1 p.m. CT before challenging host Arkansas on Sunday at noon CT.
 
South Alabama opened the 2024 season with back-to-back home victories over Samford and Southern. Through two contests, the Jaguars are 4-1 in doubles matches and 9-1 in singles matches.
 
South and New Mexico have met a total of four times on the court with the Lobos claiming victory each time.  The two schools last met in 2012 when New Mexico claimed a 6-1 win. Sunday's matchup at Arkansas will mark the first time the two programs have faced off.
