NEW ORLEANS – With the start of the 2023 football season a little over a month away, South Alabama will head to this year's Sun Belt Conference Media Day on Tuesday. The two-day event will once again be held at the Sheraton New Orleans with the West Division taking center stage on day one, followed by the West Division on Wednesday.

The Jags will be represented by third-year head coach Kane Wommack, first-team all-Sun Belt selection Yam Banks and second-team all-league honoree Carter Bradley.

The group will begin their day at 7 am (CT) Tuesday featuring 27 different interviews with radio, newspaper, television or special segments with the Sun Belt Conference that will conclude around 5 pm. The Jags are scheduled for interviews on the main stage at 2 pm.
