Quotable, head coach Mark Calvi
Got behind early but had a chance to win late …
"It got us in the fifth, but we had some really bad at-bats through four innings. Just some bad … hollow at-bats. We didn't put a hit-and-run in play, we just didn't play good baseball through the first four and then put five on us in the fifth and woke us up. For us it was too little, too late. If we had started the game with that heightened awareness it might be a different story, but we didn't and we got beat."
Turning your attention to Troy this weekend …
"We will need to play a lot better Friday night. You can't wait until the fourth or fifth, you have to have better at-bats and be more situationally aware than we were tonight. I give New Orleans credit, they beat us, they played better than us tonight. We better play better Friday night, or we will get the same result."
