2022 (Junior):  Started all 48 games he appeared in as a junior … Batted .348 with eight doubles, one triple, four home runs, 37 RBIs, 40 runs scored and six stolen bases … Recorded a .498 on-base percentage and .482 slugging percentage … Also reached base on 23 hit by pitches, and drew 28 walks against 22 strikeouts in 164 official at-bats.

2021 (Sophomore):  Played in 37 games with 35 starts…Started 27 games at second base, five in left field and three in center field…Hit .217 (23-of-106) with 15 runs scored and nine runs batted in…Two doubles and one home run…Homered at home against UT-Martin…Slugged .264, walked 12 times, hit-by-pitch a team-high eight times, and struck out 19 times… .341 on base percentage…Successful on nine-of-12 stolen base attempts…Fielded .926 with nine errors in 121 chances…Hit .378 as a leadoff hitter (14-of-37)…Had a five-game hitting streak and reached base in eight straight games…Eight multi-hit games …Drove in a UNA Division II era record five runs in a home game against Lipscomb on March 26…Was walked, hit-by-pitch, scored two runs and had two stolen bases in UNA’s last game at Vanderbilt.

Junior College:  Played at Enterprise State Community College from 2018-20 … Earned first-team Academic All-America honors in 2019-20 ... Alabama Community College Conference Academic Honor roll in 2019-20 and maintained a perfect 4.0 throughout his two years at Enterprise.

High School:  Played shortstop and second base at Northside Methodist Academy in Dothan, Ala. ...Helped lead the Knights to a state runner-up finish in 2016...Earned Dothan Eagle Super 12 honors in 2017 and 2018 … Earned all-state honors as a junior and senior.

Personal:  Full name is Jamie Austin Thrasher … Born Sept. 30, 1999, in Dothan, Ala. … The second of two children to Larry and Penny Thrasher … Has one older sister, Brianna Peters … Earned his bachelor’s degree from UNA, and is working toward a master’s degree in sport management at South Alabama.
