2022 (Redshirt):  Redshirted the 2022 season at South Alabama.

Junior College:  Appeared in four games with three starts as a redshirt freshman in 2021 at Blinn (Texas) JC ... Finished 1-1 with a 2.77 ERA and 18 strikeouts against four walks in 13 innings pitched ...  Played in 21 games as a freshman in 2020, but did not see action on the mound … Batted .274 and ranked second on the team in hits (17), and third in runs scored (9) … Also recorded one triple and eight RBIs ... Began his career at Texas A&M out of high school before transferring to BJC.

High School:  Lettered at Sweeny High School in Sweeny, Texas ... Named 2017 Newcomer of the Year at SHS ... Named district MVP and earned all-state honors as a shortstop in 2018 and ‘19 ... also earned all-state honors as a pitcher in 2018.

Personal:  Full name is Caden Wade Homniok ... Born Feb. 27, 2001, in Houston, Texas ... Has one older brother, Teel, and two younger sisters, Cassie and Caylie ... Majoring in sport management.
