MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama continues their tour of the state this weekend as they travel up to Tuscaloosa to take part in the Crimson Tide Invitational, hosted by the University of Alabama.

This marks the first weekend since the South Alabama Invitational on March 17-18 that South Alabama will not split to participate in multiple meets.

Participating teams include: Alabama, Auburn, Central Arkansas, Indiana State, Kentucky Wesleyan College, McNeese State, Memphis, Mississippi State, Mississippi Valley State University, Samford,
South Alabama, Southeastern University, Southern Miss, UAB, University of New Orleans, Texas A&M Kingsville and Troy.

Events begin with the men's and women's hammer throw Friday afternoon. The meet continues on Saturday with field events starting at 11:00 with the discus throw, while the running events will be bookended by the 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay beginning at 2:25 p.m.
