MOBILE, Ala. – After a 5-2 defeat of Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday, the Jags have a quick turnaround, traveling to the Sunshine State for matches at No. 60 Miami on Wednesday at 9 a.m. and No. 63 Florida Atlantic on Friday at 10 a.m.

South got their seventh win of the season on Sunday, beating Florida Gulf Coast at home. The Jags got wins on four of six singles courts, after taking a 1-0 lead by securing the doubles point.

Got got singles wins from
Sebastien Collard,
Maxime St-Hilaire,
Martin Bugaj and
Javier Montoya, while the doubles duos of Collard/Bugaj and Declour/
Juan Accossatto earned doubles wins.

Bugaj is still perfect in singles this season, posting an 10-0 record so far, with his wins coming from number four and number five. St-Hilaire is 9-2 on the season, with five wins at number two and four at number three.

No. 60 Miami is host to the No. 44 singles player in Dan Martin, as well as the No. 76 player in Martin Katz. The Hurricanes are 6-4 on the season, and is on a two-match losing streak, falling to No. 21 Virginia and No. 65 Virignia Tech their last two times out.

No. 63 Florida Atlantic is 7-8 on the season, dropping the last match 5-2 against UCF.

South is 3-7 all-time against Miami and has not beaten the Hurricanes since 1997. South is 2-5 against Miami in Miami.

The Jags are 7-5 all-time against Florida Atlantic, with South beating the Owls last season 4-3 in Mobile. South looks to get their first win against FAU in Boca Raton since 2016.

All home matches are held at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts and admission is free.
