MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama men's tennis returns home to host in-state rival Troy on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
South (10-7) posted a 1-1 record in week two of conference play, beating Southern Miss 6-1 Saturday but falling to Louisiana 3-4 Sunday. South is now 3-1 in Sun Belt play this year.
In South's win over Southern Miss, the Jags won the doubles point after wins from the duos of

Maxime St-Hilaire and
Sebastien Collard/
Martin Bugaj. In singles, South Alabama claimed five of six courts, but Southern Miss avoided the sweep with a win at number six.
Against Louisiana, South dropped the doubles point and got singles wins from
Sebastien Collard,
Maxime St-Hilaire and
Louis Delcour, but it wasn't enough as the Ragin Cajuns also won three to take the match 4-3.
Collard posted a 3-0 record over the weekend, with his second doubles match going unfinished. He opened the weekend with a 6-4, 6-0 win at number one against Dakotah Bobo after winning his doubles match with partner
Martin Bugaj 6-3. On Sunday, Collard's doubles match went unfinished and then he secured a 6-3, 6-2 win at number one singles against Louisiana.
Collard is now 10-6 on the year, with all matches played from the number one spot in singles.
Senior
Martin Bugaj is now 11-3 on the season, while sophomore
Maxime St-Hilaire leads the team with 13 wins on the season, while losing four.
Troy is 14-4 on the year and is 2-2 in conference play. Troy mirrored South's results from the weekend, losing to Louisiana and beating Southern Miss.
South is 16-4 all-time against Troy, with South entering Sunday with a five-match win streak over the Trojans.
Sunday's match is the "Beat Troy" match and there will be 50 free "Beat Troy" t-shirts as a giveaway.
All home matches are held at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts and admission is free.
