Quotable from coach Nick Brochu
"Great opening weekend. We have been waiting a way to play those two teams, two new teams in the conference in Old Dominion and James Madison. We really stepped up to the play and I really loved the way the guys competed. Today, the big challenge was that after you get a great win like yesterday, all the adrenaline goes out, and the goal was not to take JMU lightly. They had a battle with Troy, and we had to make sure we kept the foot on the gas and I think the guys did that. Some of them struggled today, but overall, really proud of the guys. We didn't let this match drag, there's some matches that could have gone to three sets but we closed it in two, so the guys took care of business. Doubles was a slow start but in singles we kicked it into gear and really took care of business at home. Awesome to start 2-0 in the conference." Â
