Game Facts (How it Happened)

  • South Alabama had things rolling early as Marshall Kearing hit a hook shot in the post before splashing a three-pointer to give the Jags a 5-4 lead in the opening minutes.
  • The Jags stayed hot early as Maxwell Land would drain two straight three-pointers and hit a twisting two-point jumper to give South Alabama a 13-7 advantage with 14:20 left in the first half.
  • It would be all Crimson Tide from that point on as they'd catch fire and 40-10 to close out the first half with a 43-23 advantage.
  • Alabama kept its foot on the gas coming out of the break, blistering out on a 25-9 run to take a 72-32 lead at the 9:16 mark.
  • The Tide would outscore the Jaguars 30-14 in the final eight minutes to secure the 102-46 victory.
