MOBILE, Ala. | Darrell Luter Jr. became the second South Alabama Jaguar to earn an invite to the 2023 NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis that will take place February 27 through March 6.

Luter finished the 2022 season seventh on the team in tackles with 42 total including 29 solo stops from his corner position. He also recorded 0.5 tackles for loss with one interception and seven pass breakups. For his career, he finished with 91 tackles, five interceptions (four in 2021) and 18 pass breakups.

Wayne, a third team All-Sun Belt selection and a Reese's Senior Bowl selection, started the season earning selections to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List, Pro Football Network Top 100, Jim Thorpe Preseason Watch List, Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List, and the Bednarik Award Watch List.
