Jaguar men’s tennis to compete in CCB Invite

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama men's tennis wraps up its fall season in Birmingham in the CCB Invite, hosted by Alabama. The tournament will be all day Friday through Sunday.

Players from South Alabama, Alabama, Belmont, ETSU, Louisiana, LSU, Samford, Southern Miss, Tulane, UAB, and Washington will be present at the tournament. Only singles stats will be recorded.

Dates: November 4-6
Place: Country Club of Birmingham (Birmingham, Ala.)
 
MATCH NOTES

  • No team results will be recorded.
  • Ad-scoring will not be recorded.
  • Juan Accossatto and Martin Bugaj will be competing in the tournament.
  • The CCB Invite will be Juan Accossatto's first match since his ACL injury last February.
  • The tournament will consist of three compass draws for singles and three for doubles.
  • There will be 2-out-of-3 tiebreaker sets for singles and a doubles set to 6.
  • The Jags won 18 out of 21 matches in the Cajuns Classic.
  • Maxime St-Hilaire and Sébasten Collard both defeated LSU in the singles finals draws of A and B in the Cajuns Classic.
  • Louis Delcour finished the Cajun Classic singles finals draw of A in fifth place.
  • Jack Clements and Louis Delcour defeated ULL in the doubles finals draw of A.
  • Sébastien Collard and Maxime St-Hilaire earned third place in the doubles finals draw of B against USM.
